    As well as being a great instrument to experience, there are lots of benefits we percieve when children learn to play the drums. In this article we’ll guide you through several of our favourite benefits to playing the drums.

    1. Playing the drums is fun!

    Organic beef be biased but we do really think the drums would be the most enjoyable instrument to play on the globe! We have been the timekeepers in the band, the drum beat is what makes people dance to music.

    Learning how to play drums permits us to build additional skills and recognise progress. As the child progresses inside their drumming journey they’re going to learn new grooves and fills which can be fun to play, glowing learn to play along with their favourite songs!

    2. Learning drums builds confidence

    Whichever route your child chooses, playing music with other people is a great environment in order to meet new friends who may have similar hobbies and that is something that will permit them to continue building new friendships whilst they progress up!

    Music is really a creative field and drums can be a huge section of that. In drum lessons we not simply learn to play beats and fills we recognise in the songs we hear, but additionally we practice creativity.

    This can vary from a brief improvised solo to playing along to your favourite songs and re-writing the drum parts to get new ideas.

    Whichever path your child’s lesson follows, playing drums is a superb way to learn and express creativity.

    6. Learning a guitar can take shape academic skills

    Studies have also shown that learning a device will help children to formulate academic skills.

    The research discovered that learning how to play a musical instrument helped children to boost academic performance including short-term memory, planning and language-based reasoning.

    Whilst there are lots of advantages to learning how to play drums, our favourite ones are that it’s fun and we are able to see the confidence of or students grow because they learn innovative skills!
